MS. JOCELYN HOPE MALLOY

WILMINGTON – Ms. Jocelyn Hope Malloy, 68, of 4930 Pepys Lane, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at AuthoraCare Collective of Burlington.

A native of Durham County, she was the daughter of Mr. John Harold Malloy, Sr. and Mrs. Alberta Scoggins Malloy, both deceased.

Jocelyn was also preceded in death by two sisters, Johnnie Mae Love and Patricia Allayne Malloy Durham.

Jocelyn leaves behind to cherish her memories one brother, John Harold Malloy, Jr. (Sherry) of Burlington; three nieces, April Mitchell (Lamon) of Whitsett; Amber Malloy and Jasmine Druid both of Burlington; and a host of other family members and friends.

Jocelyn’s funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 2:00pm in the Alamance Funeral Service Chapel.

The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to her funeral service in the chapel. 

Jocelyn’s public viewing will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 1-6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Social distancing will be observed and a mask is required.
