MS. ANGELIA VERNICE “BYRD” BYRD

WINSTON SALEM – Ms. Angelia Vernice “Byrd” Byrd, 56, of 3514 Carver School Road, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at Trellis Supportive Care.

A native of Orange County, she was the daughter of Mr. Edward Lawrenzo Byrd, deceased and Mrs. Catherine Blackwell Byrd, who survives.

In addition to her father, Angelia was also preceded in death by her sister, Ms. Carolyn Byrd.

In addition to her mother, Angelia leaves behind to cherish her memories one son, Patrick Renard Crews of Winston Salem; one daughter, Chauntelle Denise Tribett of Winston Salem; twenty-two grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of other family members and friends.

Angelia’s homegoing celebration will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Alamance Funeral Service Chapel, with Rev. Ralph Miles officiating and delivering her eulogy.  Interment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to her funeral service in the chapel.

Angelia’s public viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at funeral home from 1-6:00 pm.

Social distancing will be observed and a mask is required.
