Mrs. Irene Lasha'n Williams-Sanford

MRS. IRENE LASHA’N WILLIAMS-SANFORD   

WHITSETT – Mrs. Irene Lasha’n Williams-Sanford, 53, of 6820 Keeneland Drive, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Cone Health Moses Cone Hospital.

A native of Newburgh, New York, she was the daughter of Mr. James R. Williams, deceased, and Mrs. Irene Williams –Holman (Henry), who survives and the wife of Tellis Lamont Sanford.

In addition to her husband of the home and her mother, Irene leaves behind to cherish her memories two daughters, Natea Burden and Talea Sanford both of the home; and a host of other family members and friends.

Irene’s funeral service will be held on Thursday November 3, 2022 at 1:00pm at New Covenant United Holy Church with Bishop Harry L. Cohen officiating and delivering the eulogy.  Burial will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to her funeral service at the church and all other times at the home. 

Irene’s public viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 1-7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Social distancing will be observed and a mask is required.
