MRS. ARNETTE YVONNE BLACKMON JACKSON
AUGUSTA GA – Mrs. Arnette Yvonne Blackmon Jackson, 73, of 1425 Walton Way, formerly of Greensboro, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 Piedmont Augusta Hospital.
A native of Guilford County, she was the daughter of Mr. Boise Blackmon, Sr. and Mrs. Dottie Bell Lyon Blackmon, both deceased.
Arnette was also preceded in death by her son, Akil Blackmon.
Arnette leaves behind to cherish her memories two sons, Larry Wayne Moore (Betty) of Greensboro; Timothy Moore (Angela) of Houston, TX; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Arnette’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 12:00pm at Power House The Garden Cathedral with Bishop W.L. Washington officiating and delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Guil-Rand Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to her funeral service at the church.
Arnette’s public viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 1-5:00 pm at Hargett Funeral Home.
Social distancing will be observed and a mask is required.
