MR. WILLIAM “BILL” “WILLIE” MARTIN MCCAULEY

BURLINGTON- Mr. William “Bill” “Willie” Martin McCauley, 79, of 411 Piedmont Way, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 17, 2022.

A native of Guilford County, he was the son of Mr. Robert Foster McCauley and Mrs. Mary Anna Donnell Maxwell McCauley, both deceased and the husband of Rev. Gloria Harris McCauley also deceased.

William was also preceded in death by his son, William Robert McCauley, two brothers, Charles Wesley Maxwell and Robert Earl McCauley.

William leaves precious memories to his four sons, Martin Louis Withers (Sandra), Barry Lee Michael (Mariah), Stanley Devon McCauley (Traci) all of High Point; Nicholas Lamonte Harris of Burlington; one sister, Mary C.A.L. McCauley (John Waddell) of Greensboro; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

William’s memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 1:00pm in the Chapel at Hargett Funeral Service, 905 E Market Street in Greensboro, with his Pastor Ron Harris of Greater Love World Outreach Ministries officiating and  Rev. Henry R. Davis, Jr. of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church delivering the eulogy.

The family will receive family and friends thirty minutes prior to the memorial service.

No public viewing will be held.
