MR. WALLACE WEBB
Burlington-Mr. Wallace Webb, 71, of 5174 Daily Store Road, passed away on June 7, 2022 at his residence.
Mr. Wallace Webb was born on a Thursday, April 5, 1951 to Sam and Willie Belle Poteat Webb in Caswell County, North Carolina. 2022, Wallace went from labor to reward. Wallace was educated in the Caswell County school system. For many years, Wallace worked at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, North Carolina and he worked at Elon University in Elon, NC, as long as his health permitted. Wallace loved watching western movies, playing softball, riding the streets of Burlington, buying fancy clothes and definitely talking junk to everyone he met. Awaiting Wallace in Glory are his parents, Sam and Willie Belle Webb; siblings, Sam Webb, Jr., Annie “Susie” Crisp, Deacon George “Grady Cole” Webb, John “Joe” Webb and Shirley “Ree” Webb. Left to cherish his memory are his nephew/ caretaker, Pastor Mark Webb (wife, Cassandra) of Burlington; niece (raised as a daughter), Sandy Webb of Burlington; sister Webb of Burlington; brother Mebane; former wife, Anna Pulliam of Glen Raven ; stepdaughter, Sharon Pulliam Sellars of Graham; stepson, Retired Command Sergeant Major Charles Pulliam (wife, Tammy) of Woodbridge, VA; former wife, Ernestine Royster and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Wallace's homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Alamance Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Mark Webb officiating and delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Hester's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the funeral service and all other times at the home.
Public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 1-6:00 pm.
