MR. HAYWOOD PETTIGREW SAWYER, JR.

GREENSBORO- Mr. Haywood Pettigrew Sawyer, Jr., 88, of 2510 Fernbrook Road, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at AuthoraCare Collective (Beacon Place) surrounded by his loving wife and family.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the funeral home from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm.

Haywood’s funeral service will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 11:30 am at East White Oak Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop Benjamin Mittman, Sr. officiating.

The family will receive family and friends thirty minutes prior to the funeral service at the church.

Alamance Funeral Service has the honor of serving the Sawyer Family.
