MR. ERIC DEWAYNE “E” HARVEY, JR.

BURLINGTON-Mr. Eric Dewayne “E” Harvey, Jr., 39, of 805 Broad Street, Apt B, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at his residence.

A native of Philadelphia Pennsylvania he was the son of Mr. Erick Dewayne Harvey Sr. and Mrs. Juanita Williams (Jeffrey), both whom survive.

Eric. Jr. was born on June 9, 1983 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, he attended the Delaware public schools and was a graduate of Maryland Jobs Corps.  He attended college in Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Eric loved to play his video games, work on computers and write his music. He was a very gifted and talented person. 

Preceding him in death was his Grandmother Mallie Harvey; Grandfather; Beverley Myers, Sr.,; Uncle; Darryl Myers, Sr.; and Grandfather; Howard Rainey. 

Eric had a very loving, kind, gentle and sweet spirit. He would help anyone regardless of their background. His beautiful life will forever be cherished by his grandmother; Gloria Myers and his mother and father. He will also be cherished and missed by his sisters' Jennise Myers-Green (Jay),Tiarra and Nadia as well as his brothers' Cedric and Sam. He will be missed and cherished by a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as other family members and friends. 

Three of the most important people in Eric's life were his sons' Elijah Zion Harvey and Josiah Eric Harvey along with the love of his life their mother; Tarshika Alston from Rocky Mount, North Carolina. 

Eric will truly be missed, loved and forever remembered by all his family and friends. 

Eric’s homegoing service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Alamance Funeral Service at 2:30 pm with Reverend Dr. Howard Woods, Jr. officiating.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the funeral home from 1:00-7:00 pm.

The family will receive friends in the chapel from 2:00-2:30 pm.
