Mr. Billy Ray Baldwin

MR. BILLY RAY BALDWIN

GRAHAM-Mr. Billy Ray Baldwin, 67, of 1150 Moores Chapel Cemetery Road, beloved father, brother, and friend passed away unexpectedly on April, 17, 2023 at his resident.

A native of Alamance County he was the son of Mr. Hilbert Baldwin and Mrs. Blannie Lee Nickerson Baldwin, both deceased.

Billy was also preceded in death by his sister, Helen Jean Baldwin; and his brother, James Baldwin.

Billy attended Southern Alamance High School and was inducted into the Hall of Fame September 3, 2011 for the 1975 NCHSAA 3-A Wrestling State Champions. 

Billy is remembered by his son, Timothy Paylor of Saxpahaw; five brothers, Hilbert Baldwin Jr. (Veronica), Howard Baldwin, both of Burlington; Robert Baldwin of Tacoma WA; Danny Baldwin of Carrboro; David Baldwin of Graham; two grandchildren, Autumn Paylor-Russell and Jayden Paylor; two great grandchildren, Jaxsan and Maelyn Russell, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

A memorial service will be held on April 28, 2023 at the home of his nephew, James Foxx (Marsha) at 6960 Tom Woody Road Snow Camp, NC 27349, from 2-5:00 pm.

At all other times the family will receive friends at the home of his nephew.

No public viewing will be held.
