MR. ANTONIO “BUCK” FERGUSON

BURLINGTON-Mr. Antonio “Buck” Ferguson, 61, of 1313 Thomas Avenue, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at his residence.

Antonio was the son of William Dewey Ferguson and Margaret Ann Oliver Ferguson, both deceased.

In addition to his parents, Antonio was also preceded in death by two of his brothers, William Dwane Ferguson and Randy Banks.

Antonio leaves loving and cherished memories to his son, Antonio Ferguson of Wilmington; three sisters, Janice Ferguson his loving and devoted caretaker of the home; Felicia Ann Royster of Phoenix, AZ; Barbara Burnette of Salisbury; two brothers, Calvester Ferguson of Argentina; Barry Ferguson (Latasha) of White Plains, NY; three grandchildren, Ziyah, Zoey, Zion Ferguson; two nieces, Aaricia Dark and Brittany Royster; two nephews, Ryan Shaw, and George Burnette; four Godchildren, Kandice Pass (Hendrick), Krystal Bigelow (Maurice), Donna Terrell and Ricky Terrell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Antonio’s homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 in the Alamance Funeral Service Chapel at 1:00 pm with Rev. Marcie Isley officiating and delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the funeral service.

His public viewing will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at the funeral home from 1-6:00 pm.
