Evangelist Donna Melissa (King) Manning

EVANGELIST DONNA MELISSA KING MANNING               

GREENSBORO – Evangelist Donna Melissa King Manning, 61, of 704 Memphis Street, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Cone Health Moses Cone Hospital.

A native of Cumberland County, she was the daughter of Mr. William James King, deceased and Mrs. Sarah Wiggins King, who survives, and the wife of Stacey Jerome Manning, who also survives.

In addition to her mother, Sarah Wiggins King of Greensboro and her husband of the home; Donna leaves behind to cherish her memories one son, Wayne D. King (LaMelva) of McLeansville; one daughter, Denise R. King of Jamestown; three brothers, Worth Wiggins, James Lee King (Gloria) and William King all of Greensboro; three sisters, Debora Ann King, Evelena Carter (Kenneth) and Rosie King Schreiber all of Greensboro; four grandchildren, Trequon Koger (Amber), Destinee King, Jadiss Washington, Grace King and Khloe Koger(on the way); goddaughter, Chelsea Haizlip; and a host of nieces, nephews and  other relatives and friends.

Donna’s funeral service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 1:30pm in the Chapel at Hargett Funeral Service, 905 E Market Street in Greensboro.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to her funeral service in the chapel.

Donna’s public viewing will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 1-5:00 pm at Hargett funeral home.

Social distancing will be observed and a mask is required.
